History and taste in a Sherry winery

Overview

The Company Bodega Manuel Aragón is dedicated to the production of wine since 1815, from generation to generation in a very traditional way that goes from the wine yards to the bottling of a fine Sherry wine, its designation of origin. In the very same way it has comercialised both wines and vinegars for more than a century.

The winery has 2 locations: one in the centre village known as “Bodega Sanatorio” where they sell wines, and the other in the Road Cádiz-Málaga, KM 12,200, where you can find the wineyards, the “solera” and the bottling area.

Manuel Aragón inherited from his father Diego a wine business that he renewed and enlarged by increasing the locations as well as the distribution sections, establishing exquisite crop and production lines, settling down the actual company Manuel Aragón Baizán S.L. which is managed nowadays by his four sons.

This company has been always known for its defense of tradition and for its dedication to customers in order to get the wines with the best quality in the area; the names given to the main wines give us the clue: they are all a kind tribute to all those loyal workers and customers to whom a cellars’ owner wanted to thank for their dedication, professional attitude and hard work, from the most humble employees to the most selected local customers.
